About Us

The Viroqua Community Theatre was established in 2007,

Our first production was Rodgers and Hammerstein's "South Pacific." It ran September 25-28, 2008 at the Temple Theatre in Viroqua, WI.

The Viroqua Community Theatre was established as a way to provide an opportunity for dramatic expression in theater, education and performance - creating one community through the arts.

Mission:
One of the benefits of a strong cultural presence is that it inspires creativity and offers opportunity for expression to our community. It unites us and provides an opportunity for healthy social relationships to build. Art enhances the economics of our region and makes for improved relationships both socially, and in the business world.
Our productions are hosted at the Historic Temple Theatre in downtown Viroqua.  Beautifully restored; this 1922 classical revival style building in the center of Viroqua, Wisconsin's Main Street, is a true jewel.
